Depending on your perspective, it could be a good thing to have no spare. Weight savings!

This is pour- water-out-of-a-boot-with-instructions-on-the-heel level.
Are Alfa owners are probably more likely to get water in their boot then others?

I would assume they sell them without spares in other markets and accidently configured a bunch of cars the wrong way.

they’ve been replaced with a business card slot to hold your service advisor’s contact info and a friendly reminder to have your credit card ready.

Looks like it. There's no way a spare would fit in the space where it's "missing"

For me its more the fact that’s there’s actually stuff in the cars that are missing the spare and not just an empty hole.

I’ve always thought this was such a stupid idea that gets promoted by ‘car enthusiast’ YouTubes as a recommendation on how to modify your new to you car. They recommend weight reduction first, and tell you to bin the spare tire. Unless you’re a pro driver loosing the weight of your spare will do nothing except get you stranded. Idiocy. (I understand you weren’t recommending it but I had to rant)
